If a useful capability sits behind a setting nobody understands, we haven’t finished the job.

Power Moves are short animated interactive experiences that show what you can do with Salt Mail.

Try a move and see what follows, without experimenting on your real inbox.

They are entirely optional. You don’t need them to use Salt Mail. They are there when a little practice would help.

### Keep the work invisible. Make the possibilities visible.

We want to reduce our presence to a few initial swipes, then get out of your way. But those should be the right swipes for you—and that takes thought.

Email has trained us to react: open, skim, dismiss, repeat. There is little room left to discriminate between what deserves our time and what merely demands it.

Power Moves help you build muscle for those more deliberate choices. A little thought at the beginning can mean fewer decisions to repeat later, in the same inbox you already know.

### Your discovery could make someone else’s day.

Sometimes a member’s feedback reveals a way of using Salt Mail that makes us stop and smile. A familiar frustration, an unexpected use, or a small adjustment that makes a big difference. We love those discoveries.

> More than half of our Power Moves come from members.

Power Moves give us a way to share that practical knowledge with the community.

That is advocacy in practice: listen to members, help them get more from the product, and give useful discoveries back to the community.
